Facts About Invasive Species:

Invasive species have contributed directly to the decline of 42% of the threatened and endangered species in the United States.

The annual cost to the United States economy is estimated at $120 billion a year, with over 100 million acres (an area roughly the size of California) suffering from invasive plant infestations.

In Missouri, about 800 exotic plant species (26 % of our flora) grow outside of cultivation.

Facts About Honeysuckle:

Honeysuckle tolerates all types of pollution, severe summer droughts, and cold winter temperatures very well.

Honeysuckle can grow in full sun or full shade just about anywhere.

The Honeysuckle's berries are mildly poisonous to humans.

The Honeysuckle Family has virtually no disease or pest problems.
